Cars 10 years old and under are charged at our published rate ‘ No Pass – No Pay’ Simple, we will test any  vehicle ten years old or under and the test fee is only payable if and  when the vehicle passes, subject to the following:

1. Any vehicle that fails on first presentation no fee is payable however the vehicle MUST BE PRESENTED FOR RETEST WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS (of the initial failure) with the test fee becoming due upon successful retest.
2. Any vehicle being presented for retest AFTER 10 working days from the initial failure when a full retest is required (under VOSA rules), the FULL TEST FEE test fee is payable immediately regardless of whether the vehicle passes or fails its second full test.
   

Cars over ten years old are charged at our published rate which is payable immediately should the vehicle pass first time.In the event that the vehicle fails, £25.00 of the test fee is payable immediately with the balance of the fee (at our published rate) becoming due upon successful retest, subject to the following:

1. Any vehicle that fails on first presentation MUST BE PRESENTED FOR RETEST WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS (of the initial failure) with the balance of the test fee becoming due on successful retest.
2. In the event of a vehicle which has failed not being presented for retest, no further fee is payable.
3. Any vehicle being presented for retest AFTER 10 working days from the initial failure when a full retest is needed (under VOSA rules), the FULL TEST FEE  is payable immediately regardless of whether the vehicle passes or fails its second full test.
